Sarah Griffin, Senior Physiotherapist, MSc, MISCP

Since graduating from Robert Gordon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, Sarah has worked in a variety of clinical settings across the globe. She is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered to practice in Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Having worked in a hospital setting for 2 years, Sarah has since worked extensively in musculoskeletal private practice. In 2008, Sarah relocated to New Zealand where she worked in a sports injury clinic in Wellington for over 4 years. On her return to Ireland Sarah has continued to work in Private Practice.

Special Interests:

 Sarah has always had a special interest in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Sports Medicine and Joint Hypermobility. She has an active interest in Clinical Pilates and Sports Specific Exercise Prescription and Rehabilitation.

Sports Teams:

In New Zealand, Sarah worked with a professional basketball team, Olympic level athletes as well as local soccer and rugby teams. Her current physiotherapy responsibilities are Midleton Rugby Club and several elite athletes.

Sarah is committed to continual professional development and throughout her time in New Zealand she completed many courses in Clinical Pilates, dry needling and spinal mobilisation. Sarah has completed a Master’s degree in Advanced Physiotherapy Practice in University of Limerick.

Sarah runs the Clinical Pilates Program here at Imokilly Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic as well as working with Midleton Rugby Club.


Her personal interests include running, Pilates and travelling as well as running after her toddler!
